Online Services
We offer our patients the facility to book doctors' appointments and order repeat prescriptions using the internet. This is available 24 hours a day.
How to register for our internet services
As this facility enables the user to have access to your appointment
history and current medication, we do need to verify your identity. You must
be aged over 16 to register, but you may book appointments for your child
once you have registered.
You need to attend the surgery in person and ask at reception for a
registration form. You will be asked for photographic proof of identity and
documentation confirming the address at which we have you registered.
Once your identity has been confirmed, you will be given a registration form
which will provide you with all the information you need to register to use
Patient UK internet facilities. For the security of both you and the
practice, you must not disclose this information to anyone else.
Click HERE to visit the Patient UK website.
New users will need to click on ‘create your account’. Using the information contained in the registration form, follow the steps to register and set up your account. Once your account is set up you are then ready to book appointments or to order repeat medications.
To book an appointment on line
From the Patient UK homepage, click on “book an appointment” and this
will show you available appointments. When you have chosen a suitable time,
click on this and then confirm by clicking “book”. If you return to the
homepage you will see the appointment you have just made. There is an option
to cancel if you wish.
To book an appointment for a child under 16
Follow the instructions above (logging on as yourself). In the ‘reason for
appointment’ field type the child’s name and date of birth. The child MUST
be registered with the practice.
How to order repeat prescriptions
Log on to the system as above. Click on “requesting a repeat prescription”. This will show you your medication and you can select the items you require. In the text box please specify if you will be collecting the prescription or using a pharmacy collection service. The normal time guidelines will apply (see Repeat Prescriptions).
